The upcoming action film starring Mark and Halle, set to be released on Netflix on Aug. 16, showcases the duo as Mike and Roxanne, former high school sweethearts who reunite when Roxanne enlists Mike, a construction worker, for a risky intelligence mission.
“It was enjoyable. I think many of us imagine about that one person we let slip away or what might have happened if we stayed with our high school sweetheart,” the Oscar winner reflected on the project. “Or if you happened to meet them again, would you still have anything in common? I have wondered that over the years.”
