Gypsy Rose Blanchard Opens Up About Her Grieving Process After Her Mother’s Death
Following her release, part of Gypsy’s journey involved starring in her own Lifetime docuseries Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up (Airing Mondays at 9 p.m. EST). This show serves as a continuation of January’s The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard.
Gypsy explained, “I was tired of being labeled as Gypsy Rose Blanchard the prisoner, the girl who did that to her mom. I wanted to show the public who I truly am as a person, beyond the labels and stories that define me. That was my motivation for doing this documentary follow-up.”
Despite facing online critics, Gypsy is focused on living life on her own terms and caring less about external opinions.
She remarked, “I’ve put my heart into this. I hope the public sees that positively. That’s all I can do.”
