Gypsy Rose Blanchard Responds to Fans’ Visits to Her Mother’s Home
Since her release in December, Gypsy has openly expressed regret over her mother’s passing.
“Nobody can tell me things about myself that I don’t already know,” Gypsy stated in a video tribute to her mother on Mother’s Day earlier this year. “Do I have regrets? Oh, yes. I have many.”
The Louisiana native is actively working through her complex emotions towards her deceased mother.
“I choose to remember her not for what she did to me,” Gypsy reflected. “But as a person. Was she a good mother? No. Was she the best mother in the world? No. But she was still my mother. So how I feel about her—whether it’s guilt, anger, grief, resentment, or anything else—that’s my own. No one can diminish my feelings toward my own mother.”
