Slash from Guns N’ Roses Mourns the Passing of His 25-Year-Old Stepdaughter
Slash is opening up about his grief.
The renowned guitarist from Guns n’ Roses shared the heartbreaking news that his stepdaughter, Lucy-Bleu Knight, daughter of his partner of nine years, Meegan Hodges, passed away on July 19 at the age of 25.
“Lucy-Bleu Knight (December 6, 1998),” Slash (real name Saul Hudson) wrote on Instagram on July 21. “Beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson passed peacefully in Los Angeles, CA on July 19, 2024.”
The musician, who had to cancel some shows on his S.E.R.P.E.N.T. Festival tour on July 21 due to “unforeseen circumstances,” respectfully asked for privacy for his family during this challenging period.
“Lucy-Bleu was a talented artist, a passionate dreamer, and a charming, lovable, sweet soul,” the statement further expressed. “The family kindly requests privacy at this moment and urges everyone to refrain from speculations on social media as they mourn and cope with this tragic loss.”
