During the interview, Jimmy praised Jennifer for her exceptional performance in the film and expressed how it had left him “shaken.” He asked her, “How did you manage to act in this? Did you take a long break after this role? It’s insane.”
Jennifer Lawrence calmly responded, “I’ve mentioned this before, I don’t know if people are aware of this. I reached such an emotionally low point during filming, going into such a dark place that eventually I had to bring in the Kardashians,” clarifying, “Not in person.”
Jimmy commented that the Kardashians have that effect on people, likening them to a party bus that arrives to lift your spirits, introducing each family member. Jennifer continued, “I had to film this one scene that pushed me to a dark place I had never been before, and it was horrifying.” She shared how she felt scared leading up to the scene and how the Kardashians helped her cope.
