Theresa Nist is looking back on her whirlwind marriage to Gerry Turner.
Just three days after confirming their breakup, the star of The Golden Bachelor revealed that she hadn’t anticipated her love story with the show’s leading man to come to an end so quickly.
“It was truly one of the most amazing experiences of my life, something I never thought would happen at this stage in my life,” Theresa shared in an Instagram post on April 15. “I genuinely believed it would last forever. It just shows that even at 70, there are still surprises in store.
Despite announcing her separation from Gerry three months after their public wedding, the TV personality asserted that she doesn’t regret being part of Bachelor Nation, acknowledging that “sometimes things don’t go as planned.”
“I have gained so much from this experience,” Theresa added, “most importantly the amazing friends I have made among these incredible women.”
