Rihanna is currently focused on new music, just not her own. The Fenty Beauty founder is eagerly anticipating GloRilla’s upcoming album after enjoying her latest singles, including “TGIF.” GloRilla recently revealed that Rihanna reached out to her directly regarding the album.
“You got all summer sis!” Rihanna messaged GloRilla on March 19, as shared by the singer on her Instagram grid on July 2. “I know this is hypocritical, but when is the album dropping?”
The 36-year-old singer even added a shrugging and smirking emoji to further emphasize the joke.
Fans were quick to point out Rihanna’s request for new music, considering she hasn’t released an album since 2016’s Anti. One fan commented, “Ri asking for an album is diabolical.”
In response, another fan suggested a playful reply for GloRilla.
“I would have sent the reverse uno card to RiRi,” they joked. “Because what do you mean.”
