The actor mentioned that he was part of one of the most incredible action sequences ever filmed for the movie. Powell also talked about facing extreme cold during a scene that required rain machines.

What was Glen Powell’s experience while filming the action sequence for Twisters?

During an interview with Fandango’s Big Ticket, Powell revealed that he had to be pulled across a pool by a wire in one of the scenes. He described it as the most physical exertion he had ever undergone.

The Top Gun: Maverick star shared, “We shot that in December with a rain machine. One of the coldest nights I’ve ever experienced, getting dragged across a pool by a wire. I think it was the most physical thing that I’ve ever done.”

His co-star, Daisy Edgar Jones, echoed Powell’s sentiments, stating that he had to embody the intensity of being caught in a tornado. She added, “It can’t be tender. Tornadoes aren’t tender. You have to put your body on the line in order to sell that experience.”
