Gigi Hadid Acknowledges Taylor Swift at Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show
Gigi Hadid is about to reveal a secret on the runway.
Paying tribute to her close friend Taylor Swift, the supermodel walked down the catwalk at the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Oct. 15.
Gigi started the show by being lifted from a platform under the catwalk, similar to how Taylor opens her Eras Tour shows. She even raised her arm and waved to the audience, reminiscent of the singer during her Lover era.
As one fan pointed out on X, “Gigi Hadid doing Taylor Swift’s ICONIC ‘OH HI’ at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.”
Wearing a silky pink lingerie ensemble with angel wings, Gigi also appeared to channel her bestie while striking poses on the runway, before finishing her walk by descending under the stage once again, just like Taylor does at the Eras Tour.
In fact, Gigi hinted at the concert-like moment hours before the show.
“There’s something new for me on this runway tonight,” the 29-year-old shared withEntertainment Tonight before the event. “There’s an element that Taylor taught me on her tour. During one of her rehearsals, she said, ‘I’ll show you how we do this.’ And now I’m using it tonight.”
