Gerry Turner makes it official and files for divorce from Theresa Nist.
“The thing that stands out the most in our conversations is how committed we both are to our families,” Gerry shared. “So when we look at these situations, we both feel that it’s best for our individual happiness to live apart.”
Theresa chimed in, saying, “We explored homes in South Carolina, considered New Jersey, and visited numerous properties, but we never reached a final decision.”
Despite their separation, Gerry and Theresa are grateful for the journey they have been on and for the support they have received from Bachelor Nation.
“The love and kindness we’ve received from viewers of The Golden Bachelor has been overwhelming,” Theresa expressed. “Many people have told us that our story gave them hope, and we hope that feeling continues for others.”
