Johnny Wactor, Star of General Hospital, Tragically Mourned by His Mother
Johnny Wactor‘s mom is going through an indescribable loss.
Following the tragic news of the General Hospital actor’s death in a fatal shooting in downtown Los Angeles on May 25, Scarlett Wactor, Johnny’s mother, shared her thoughts on her son’s life.
“There is a profound void within all of us,” she disclosed to NBC News in an article published on May 26. “No amount of fixing can mend that.”
Hailing from South Carolina, Scarlett described her son as “a beacon of light in a dimly lit room” and expressed gratitude for being able to cherish his memory through his acting work.
She expressed, “When I watch Johnny in videos and recordings, I can only hope he is doing the same in heaven and relishing every moment.”
Scarlett shared with NBC News that Johnny had been working as a bartender at a rooftop venue and had stayed behind to assist with a thorough cleaning after closing on the night of the tragic incident.
