Gabourey Sidibe quips that her twin babies have humbled her irreparably
Gabourey Sidibe isn’t afraid to show her real self on Instagram Reels.
In a recent video, the 41-year-old had a good time getting ready to take her 6-month-old twins Cooper and Maya to the pediatrician.
“I TOO, have never aspired to be humble,” she captioned the clip, referring to Kamala Harris’ viral quote, “but the twins have humbled me beyond repair I fear.”
In the video, the Precious actress was shown trying to put on a wig while wearing a shirt covered in spit-up, specifically mentioning her son Cooper.
“My son and I have a difference of opinion about who I should be,” she said. “My son believes that because I’m at home with a bald head and spit-up on me, that’s how I should be in public too. But no, I refuse. I don’t have to look messy in public. I will be fabulous. Understand? Okay? Okay?”
The Oscar nominee then debated about applying eyeliner before changing her mind and declaring, “Who am I kidding? Never mind. I’m taking this off. Never mind.”
