The sequel to Fyre Festival to feature “super expensive” cheese sandwiches
Get ready for a unique twist on Fyre Festival cheese sandwiches like you’ve never seen before.
Founder Billy McFarland, whose infamous 2017 luxury music festival in the Bahamas led to his imprisonment for wire fraud, has announced plans for Fyre Festival II next year. This time, the festival will pay homage to one of its most iconic elements.
“We’ll be serving cheese sandwiches,” McFarland joked in an interview with NBC News on Sept. 9. “And they’re going to be really pricey. We’re going all out to make them top-notch, perhaps even the most expensive item on the menu.”
The new festival is scheduled for April 2025 on a private island near Mexico. McFarland intends to capitalize on the first festival’s drama but hopes for a different and successful outcome this time.
“We have an opportunity to confront the past and navigate through the turmoil,” he stated. “If it’s executed effectively, Fyre Festival could become an annual event that revolutionizes the festival scene.”
