Friendship Day 2024 EXCLUSIVE: Ahsaas Channa’s mom says no to guy asking Kota Factory actress out for a date; ‘Iske saath mat jaana tum’
Ahsaas Channa, who began her career as a child artist in the 2004 film, Vaastu Shastra, has appeared in several movies including Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, My Friend Ganesha, and Phoonk. Ahsaas recently shared that her mom, actress Kulbir Kaur, once turned down a guy who asked the Kota Factory actress out on a date.
In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Ahsaas Channa, who shares a strong bond with her mother, Kulbir, opened up about their open communication. Ahsaas revealed that a guy recently asked her out.
When asked if she had reservations about discussing topics like sex, periods, or relationships with her mom, Ahsaas said, “Yes! 100 percent. Last week I was asked out by a boy and I told her.”
The Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna actress used hand gestures to show how she showed her mom the guy’s picture. She recalled, “Mom, do you know this guy asked me out for dinner.”
Describing her mom’s reaction, the Kota Factory actress said, “No! Don’t go out with him. You can do better.”

Ahsaas Channa further shared that the mother-daughter duo have always been there for each other. Even though her mom, Kulbir, was also working, she would come to Ahsaas’ set and they would spend quality time together.
The Hostel Daze actress elaborated on their bond, crediting her mom for picking her up from school, taking her to auditions, and bringing her to sets.
On the work front, Ahsaas Channa is making waves in the OTT space with series like Girls Hostel, Hostel Daze, The Interns, Jugaadistan, Modern Love Mumbai, and others. Ahsaas also appeared in Prajakta Koli and Rohit Saraf’s Mismatched Season 2.
Ahsaas’ notable web series is Kota Factory. She has been a part of the TVF series since the first season. Kota Factory Season 3 was released on June 20th of this year.
Kulbir Kaur is a familiar face in the television industry, having worked in movies like Veer-Zara, Hindi Medium, and Kesari.
