Darius Morris, Former Lakers Player, Passes Away at Age 33
In 2013, Morris was moved to the NBA G League team the Los Angeles D-Fenders. The following year, he had stints with the Philadelphia 76ers and the Memphis Grizzlies on temporary contracts. He then went on to play for the San Antonio Spurs and later the Portland Trail Blazers before being released in October. In December, he signed with the Brooklyn Nets, where he played until mid-2015.
After his time in the NBA, Morris continued his basketball career with other NBA G League teams like the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. He also played for teams in foreign leagues, such as the Guangdong Southern Tigers in the Chinese Basketball Association and most recently, the BCM Gravelines-Dunkerque in France’s LNB Pro A in 2020.
