Fawad Khan Captivates with His Dreamy Eyes While Embracing Vaani Kapoor in BTS First Look from Abir Gulaal
Pakistani actor Fawad Khan and Indian actress Vaani Kapoor are set to star together in the upcoming romantic comedy film Abir Gulaal for the first time. A picture of the duo from the movie has surfaced on social media, increasing the excitement among fans.
The movie is set in London and filming began on September 29, 2024. It is directed by Aarti S. Bagdi, known for Chalti Rahe Zindagi. The project is produced by Indian Stories in collaboration with A Richer Lens and Aarjay Pictures.
In the viral photo, Fawad and Vaani are seen lying on the ground, with Vaani resting her head on Fawad’s chest. Their expressions have captured the attention of all fans. It’s truly romantic!
The makers are thrilled about Fawad’s huge global fan base and expect the audience to love the film. They believe that this film will showcase Fawad in his most charming role yet.
“The film follows the journey of two individuals who unintentionally help each other heal, leading to love blossoming as an unexpected result,” said Bagdi, as per Variety. The team is eager to see the chemistry between Fawad and Vaani. The film is produced by Vivek B. Agrawal, Avantika Hari, and Rakesh Sippy.
The movie will be shot in the UK in October and November. The team has revealed that a leading Bollywood music composer has created six original tracks for the film, to be sung by top Bollywood music talent.
Fawad’s last Bollywood appearance was in Karan Johar’s 2016 film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Previous reports suggested a cameo in Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 alongside Vaani and Ridhi Dogra, but Abir Gulaal is his only confirmed project in India.
It’s noteworthy that Fawad’s return to Bollywood comes after a ban on Pakistani actors and artists in response to the Pulwama attacks in 2019. The Indian Motion Picture Producers Association had also banned Pakistani talent in 2016 due to tensions between the nations.
