Fans were unprepared for the Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran wax figures
Perhaps these are not the exact reflections that Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran see when they look in the mirror.
The famous singer and her close friend were recently honored with wax figures at the Panoptikum museum in Hamburg, Germany, and the reviews of the statues have been quite mixed.
“They look so different, I’m crying,” expressed one fan on X, previously known as Twitter, on Aug. 13. Another fan joked, “when your mom says you have Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift at home.”
Some fans were worried about the portrayal of the “Shape of You” artist, commenting, “Ed looks like he can’t walk like he used to.” Meanwhile, another fan was taken aback by the resemblance (or lack thereof) of Taylor, stating, “Oh my god, they did her so wrong.”
Despite the mixed reviews, there were fans who were delighted by the wax figures. “Honestly, they are really good representations!” shared a fan on X. “Taylor’s figure looks amazing!”
Another fan added, “I’m sure the figures are incredibly lifelike and a must-see for any Swifties or Sheerios visiting the museum. I’m curious to see how realistic they turned out.”
