Family Seeks Second Autopsy Following Discovery

Riley Strain‘s family is still searching for answers.

Following a preliminary autopsy that indicated the 22-year-old’s death was likely “accidental” without any signs of foul play, the family has requested a second autopsy.

“The family decided to have a second autopsy conducted in Tennessee after the initial national autopsy, by a private company specializing in such services,” said family friend Chris Dingman in an interview with News Nation. “The results of the original autopsy showed no obvious signs of trauma, like weapons, guns or knives, but further testing was performed.”

Regarding the original autopsy, Dingman mentioned, “The family was surprised when the coroner publicly commented in Nashville about the absence of water in Riley’s lungs. This raises additional questions because typically, water in the lungs indicates the person was alive when they entered the water.”

Dingman also mentioned a police report stating that Strain was found without his shoes, pants, or wallet, and the family is eagerly awaiting the results of a toxicology report for further insights.
