Anna Delvey, the fake heiress, criticizes Whoopi Goldberg for her DWTS critique
Anna Delvey recently expressed her nerves about her outfits while competing on ‘Dancing With the Stars’.
Anna Delvey has responded to comments made by Whoopi Goldberg on The View.
After Goldberg criticized the decision to have Anna on season 33 of Dancing With the Stars, the former con artist, who served time in prison for her crimes, told Page Six on September 6, “While you are entitled to your own opinions, you should at least get your facts straight.”
In response to Goldberg’s comments about her owing money to people, Anna stated, “I served my time and paid everyone back in full three-plus years ago.”
She also added towards Goldberg, “Looking forward to your on-air correction.”
Despite facing criticism, Anna is focused on winning the DWTS Mirrorball trophy, urging fans to vote on September 17. She humorously said, “Stay nasty ladies, but don’t forget to vote!”
The subject of Inventing Anna was convicted of larceny in 2017 for posing as a German heiress and scamming money from New York’s elites. She was released on parole in 2021 and faced deportation proceedings by ICE the same year.
