Riddhima reveals how she, Ranbir, and Neetu Kapoor dealt with Rishi Kapoor’s death in separate rooms on Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives S3
Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, who starred in Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives this year, has a strong bond with her family. She lost her father, veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, in 2020. During a promotional event for her show, Riddhima shared that her family, including Ranbir Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, would cry in separate rooms after Rishi Kapoor’s passing.
In a recent interview with YouTuber Siddharth Kanan, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni opened up about coping with the loss of her father, Rishi Kapoor. She revealed that her family would hide their emotions and cry in private before coming together and acting normal.
Riddhima mentioned that even though the Kapoor family may not openly show their emotions, they all carry the pain of losing him deep inside. She also shared that she and her mother, Neetu Kapoor, support each other through the difficult times.
Riddhima, who lives in Delhi, mentioned that she visits her mother in Mumbai whenever she feels down. She is married to Bharat Sahni and has a daughter named Samara Sahni.
This is not the first time Riddhima Kapoor Sahni has spoken about her father’s passing. In a previous interview with YouTuber Anushka Arora, she mentioned that the Kapoor family has become closer and more supportive of each other since his death. She also spoke about her uncle, actor-filmmaker Rajiv Kapoor, who passed away in 2021.
Rishi Kapoor, who was battling leukemia, underwent treatment in New York and returned to India in 2019. He later had breathing difficulties and was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai where he passed away on April 30, 2020.
In her debut appearance, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni is part of the third season of Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives, produced by Karan Johar. The series features Maheep Kapoor, Seema Sajdeh, Bhavana Pandey, and Neelam Kothari. The new season has been streaming on Netflix since October 18.
