“Emotional Breakdown: Kim Zolciak Opens Up About Split from Kroy Biermann”
Kim Zolciak‘s divorce from Kroy Biermann has been difficult for her.
During a breathing exercise and therapy session on the upcoming premiere of Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets, The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum broke down in tears over the end of her marriage.
“As I’m breathing, I’m just crying and crying and crying, and I need this. I really do,” an emotional Kim confessed before telling her fellow cast members like Johnny Weir and Macy Gray, “I’m a f–king basket case.”
Through the exercise, Kim realized she was lacking the support she needed during this challenging time.
“I protect everybody else,” Kim, who shares children Brielle, 27, Ariana, 22, KJ, 13, Kash, 11, and twins Kaia and Kane, 10, with Kroy, shared, “and I don’t feel like anybody’s really protecting me, from my parents to my husband.”
In a confessional, the 46-year-old explained why she felt comfortable opening up about her true emotions.
