“As we were growing up, my father always emphasized the importance of family,” recalled Prince, 27, during an interview on Good Morning Britain. “He used to say, ‘We may not have much, but as long as we have each other – you, your brother, your sister, and me – that’s all that truly matters.’ This sentiment has deeply resonated with my siblings and me, fostering a strong bond between us.”
Being the oldest, Prince’s father had entrusted him with the responsibility of looking after his younger siblings in the future. Tragically, that moment arrived sooner than expected when Michael passed away in 2009 at the age of 50. Prince acknowledged that he was unprepared to take on the role.
“Following his death, and facing the harsh realities of life,” Prince revealed, “my siblings stepped in to fill the void that I was unable to. They truly carried the weight, and for that, I am forever grateful.”
