Erin Andrews Opens Up About Challenging Moments During 10-Year Fertility Journey
During their journey down the figurative field, there were certainly moments when Andrews felt uncertain. She recalled a plane ride in late 2022, the day before she and Stoll, 41, received the news that their surrogate was pregnant with their son.
“I was on a flight back from a game and as soon as I sat down in my seat, I completely lost it,” she recounted. Trying not to draw attention from her fellow passengers, “I just started crying because I realized, ‘I can’t hide behind my football game anymore. I have to face reality. We will find out tomorrow if she’s pregnant.'”
At that point, she added, “I was thinking, ‘Oh my goodness, what if it doesn’t work? I can’t go through this again.'”
That’s why moments with Mack, like a recent morning spent snuggling and reading Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?, are all the more precious.
