Emily Blunt opens up about her conversation with Ryan Gosling on a plane following the Oscars
Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt have officially resolved their Barbenheimer beef.
Just two days after the Barbie star and the Oppenheimer actress settled their fake feud at the 2024 Academy Awards, they came together again in Austin, Texas, on March 12 for the premiere of their upcoming movie The Fall Guy at the SXSW film festival.
During the event, Emily praised Ryan’s performance in Barbie at the Oscars, saying, “He’s so humble and brushes off any compliments, but I said on the flight over, I said, ‘I just need you to know, it was just utterly amazing.'”
She also commended the “guts” of the La La Land actor, adding, “I don’t know if anyone could have done what he did.” She mentioned that the energy in the room when he performed lifted the whole atmosphere.
Ryan, on the other hand, mentioned, “I’m just so happy everyone had fun.” He shared with E! News that the Barbie party had to end, but he tried to finish it on a high note that he could barely hit.
