Emily Blunt and John Krasinski’s daughters spotted in public for rare appearance at US open
Despite generally keeping their daughters out of the spotlight, Krasinski and Blunt have found inspiration in them. This is evident in Krasinski’s latest film, If, which he both wrote and directed.
In a recent interview with E! News on May 13, Krasinski expressed how watching his kids enter a world of imagination that he and his wife weren’t a part of sparked the idea for his film. During the COVID pandemic, he noticed their lights dimming as they played fewer imaginary games and started asking deeper questions about the world.
He shared, “I realized that they were at a crossroads, contemplating leaving childhood behind. I told Emily, ‘That’s growing up. But they don’t have to let go of that magical world. It’s always there for them, they can always return to it.”
