The famous singer and her husband Caspar Jopling have announced the end of their four-year marriage on social media on Feb. 23.
This news follows the circulation of photos showing Ellie, who has a 2-year-old son named Arthur with the art dealer, allegedly kissing another man at the beach.
Addressing the recent stories, Ellie shared on her Instagram Story, “In light of recent stories, I feel I have been left with no choice but to let you all know that Caspar and I privately separated some time ago. We remain the closest of friends and have been successfully co-parenting with our son’s best interests at heart.”
The “Burn” artist emphasized her commitment to safeguarding her family’s privacy and requested fans to honor her wishes.
Additionally, she reposted a message from Caspar regarding their separation.
In a separate Instagram Story, Caspar expressed, “I feel (sadly) that I need to say something on mine and Ellie’s current relationship, that I hope more than anything will make any final tabloid speculation disappear.”
