Dylan Sprouse Opens Up About Intention to Cast His Twin in a Project Involving His Character’s Death
Dylan Sprouse expresses his desire to collaborate with his actor twin, Cole Sprouse, in one of the movies he plans to produce. As Dylan sets off on his producer journey, he envisions casting his brother in a scene for a brief five minutes before tragically ending his character’s life. During a conversation with Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelo, Dylan shared his ambitions as a producer.
While appearing on Live with Kelly and Mark, the actor confirmed his willingness to work with his brother when asked by the hosts about potentially reuniting with Cole on screen. Kelly Ripa inquired, “Would you ever cast your brother in something and then be his boss?”
In response to Ripa’s question, Dylan joked, “I thought it would be pretty funny to start casting him in roles where he gets killed in the movie a lot, like in South Park with Kenny.”

Dylan further elaborated, stating that it would be amusing to have Cole on screen briefly before meeting a dramatic end. In a previous interview, the After We Collided star mentioned that he and his brother are on the lookout for ideal twin roles to play together. Dylan also disclosed that Cole tends to get annoyed when other actors portray twins in movies.
Reflecting on their past collaborations, the Sprouse brothers have gone on separate paths in the entertainment industry. While Cole found success as Jug Head in Riverdale, Dylan’s standout role was in My Fake Boyfriend.
