Remains Presumed to Be Dylan Rounds’ Discovered 2 Years After He Went Missing
Dylan Rounds‘ family finally has closure two years after his disappearance.
Skeletal remains believed to be the missing 19-year-old were found on April 9 in a remote area near Lucin, Utah, as reported by the Box Elder County Sheriff’s Office.
“Our hearts go out to the family of Dylan Rounds,” the department expressed. “We know their pain is immense, and we offer our deepest sympathies. We hope they can find peace in the days ahead.”
This revelation comes over a year after James Brenner—referred to as a “squatter” on Rounds’ Lucin property—was charged with aggravated murder and abuse or desecration of a body in connection to his disappearance, according to authorities.
According to Rounds’ mother, Candice Cooley, Brenner disclosed the location of the remains as part of a plea deal. “We appreciate the support and love from everyone,” she shared with EastIdahoNews.com. “We are thankful to have Dylan’s body and can bring him home while we seek justice.”
