DWTS Stars Peta Murgatroyd and Maks Chmerkovskiy Celebrate the Arrival of their Third Baby
The couple recently shared a video from a gender reveal party, where Peta and Maks, 44, were seen posing for photos with their two eldest sons, parents, and poodle Hachi. They fired off a confetti cannon and celebrated with a cake filled with blue sprinkles that read, “We’re here for the sex!”
Peta expressed her joy in the video’s caption, stating, “Maks and I are thrilled to welcome another buddy for Shai and Rio. We envision them being the best of friends, and the thought of family dinners already brings us joy!”
In addition to his older brothers, the new arrival will also have a cousin to bond with — fellow DWTS couple Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson‘s 16-month-old son Rome. “Shai is a wonderful older cousin and brother,” Peta shared with E! News in February, “and Rome adores babies with great enthusiasm, albeit a bit excessively.”
For Val, watching his son interact with his brother and Peta’s eldest child brings back memories. “Shai and Rome are exactly six years apart,” the 38-year-old mentioned. “Seeing them together is like seeing Maks and me in old photos because Shai bears a striking resemblance to Maks.”
