Danny Amendola is calling foul on this rumor.
Following support from pal Xandra Pohl at a Dancing with the Stars taping last week, the New England Patriots alum denied any romantic involvement between them.
“Xandra is a dear friend of mine,” Danny told E! News’ Will Marfuggi in an exclusive interview on September 24. “I have immense respect and admiration for her and am grateful to have a friend like her.”

It’s fortunate that Xandra was seen seated next to Danny’s mother Rose during the September 17 episode. Sporting a V-neck T-shirt and loose hair, the 23-year-old appeared delighted and supportive throughout the performances.
Despite the denial of any romantic links between the 38-year-old and Xandra, rumors had already been circulating before Danny joined the DWTS cast. They were even pictured together at Tom Brady’s Patriots Hall of Fame June induction ceremony at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts.
