Royal Experts Claim Meghan Markle Makes Work Difficult for Royal Staff Members

Royal experts have discussed Markle’s interactions with staff, with some labeling her as “Duchess Difficult.” Sources close to the royal family even claimed that Markle had the ability to reduce a “grown man to tears.”
Reports suggest that Markle often belittled her staff and disregarded their advice, which could have been beneficial for her. One long-time staff member described Markle as acting like a “dictator in high heels.”
Former aide Josh Kettle shared that many were fearful of Meghan, as she would belittle, ignore advice, and frequently change decisions leading to poor outcomes.

Another insider reported that Markle would give orders and behave in a way that made people feel intimidated. In contrast, Prince Harry was described as charming and an enabler.

In 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped back from their royal duties. Markle later spoke out about alleged racism within the palace in an interview with Oprah Winfrey.
