Dua Lipa Embraces Radical Optimism with Her Third Album, Delving into New Music
Dua Lipa is embracing a new level of positivity with her latest music.
The 28-year-old has announced the upcoming release of her first studio album in four years, Radical Optimism. She has also revealed the album cover, featuring a picture of herself swimming in the ocean with a shark fin above the water.
“A few years back, a friend introduced me to the concept of Radical Optimism,” Dua said in a press release on March 13. “It really resonated with me, and as I delved into it, I began to incorporate it into my life.”
The three-time Grammy winner went on to say, “The idea of facing chaos with grace and believing you can overcome any challenge struck a chord with me. As I explored musical genres like psychedelia, trip hop, and Britpop, I felt their confidence and optimism. This sincerity and attitude inspired my recording sessions.”
Radical Optimism, her third studio album, features 11 tracks including the nu-disco hit “Houdini” released in November, and the new dance track “Training Season.”
