Drake Bell is sharing a difficult experience from his past.
The former Nickelodeon star has revealed that he was the underage victim in the 2004 sexual assault case involving Brian Peck, who was working as an acting and dialogue coach for the second season of Nickelodeon’s All That.
Bell recounted his story in a recent Investigation Discovery documentary called Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV, which sheds light on the challenging working environment created by Dan Schneider, known for his work on Nickelodeon’s All That, The Amanda Show, Zoey 101, iCarly, and Victorious.
In the documentary, as reported by Today, Bell revealed that the abuse took place at Peck’s residence over several months, during which the acting coach manipulated the young actor by turning him against his father, who had raised concerns about Peck to the network.
“I think Brian sensed that my dad was keeping an eye on things,” Bell shared, mentioning that Peck voiced doubts about Bell’s father supporting his career. “So, he began to create a divide between my dad and me.”
