Deon and Karen Derrico from ‘Doubling Down with the Derricos’ Announce Split
Deon Derrico and Karen Derrico are going their separate ways.
The duo, who have documented their life raising their 14 kids—which includes four sets of multiples—on the TLC series Doubling Down with the Derricos shared they have broken up after 19 years of marriage.
“Together, we remain unified in the parenting of our 14 beautiful children—their well-being is our priority,” Deon and Karen shared in a statement to E! News June 17. “We thank everyone for their understanding and support as we move forward for the good of our family.”
The couple—who married in 2005—filed for divorce on June 4, according to documents obtained by TMZ, finalizing it just two days later, June 6. Deon and Karen, who share children Darian, 18, Derrick, 13, twins Dallas and Denver, 12, quintuplets Deniko, Dariz, Deonee, Daiten, and Daician, 10, twins Diez and Dior, 6, and triplets Dawsyn, De’Aren, and Dyver, 4, plan to split legal and physical custody of their minors.
