Dominic West Reveals Impact of Lily James Drama on His Wife
Dominic West is speaking out about the photos of him and Lily James.
Several years after the paparazzi pictures of the pair in Rome caused a stir, The Crown star reflected on how he and his wife Catherine FitzGerald faced the media attention.
“I hesitate to talk on behalf of my wife because it was obviously terrible, especially for her,” Dominic shared with The Sunday Times in an interview published on April 21. “But we do make jokes about it sometimes.”
“Whenever we were seen together, the tabloids would always claim we were ‘putting on a show of unity,'” he explained. “Even if we had just been arguing about parking or something, even though that couldn’t be further from the truth. So now when we go out, we jokingly ask each other, ‘Should we put on a show of unity in London?'”
In reality, Dominic—who has been married to Catherine since 2010 and has four children with her along with a daughter from a previous relationship with Polly Astor—revealed that the media frenzy had a negative impact on the entire family.
