‘Jayam Ravi weighs in on the speculation surrounding the removal of Silambarasan TR from Mani Ratnam’s PS-I’
Jayam Ravi has faced criticism in both his personal and professional life, especially following his recent divorce announcement with wife Aarti Ravi. He has now addressed rumors about his supposed conflict with Silambarasan TR and the removal of Silambarasan TR from Ponniyin Selvan-I.
In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Jayam Ravi clarified that the rumors of his conflict with Silambarasan TR leading to his removal from Mani Ratnam’s film were baseless. He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to work with a filmmaker like Mani Ratnam and denied making any demands related to casting for PS-I.
He emphasized his long-time dream of working with Mani Ratnam and acknowledged Silambarasan TR, or ‘Simbu’, as a good friend. He explained that it would have been a great experience to work with him on the film.
Jayam Ravi dismissed speculations about his personal life, including rumors about dating a singer named Kenishaa Francis. He clarified that he knows Kenishaa as a spiritual healer and plans to collaborate with her to open a spiritual center.
