It’s not just because her real-life husband Brian Hallisay has made appearances on the show as Maddie’s ex, Doug. Their children Autumn James, 10, Atticus James, 8, and Aidan James, 2, have recently started watching the show and have become huge fans. However, Jennifer revealed that their interest in acting has been a mixed experience so far.
“Atticus has made it clear that he has no interest in acting,” she shared with E! News in an exclusive interview. “He finds it too nerve-wracking and doesn’t want to make mistakes. He’s just not into it.”
“On the other hand, Autumn is eager to step onto a red carpet right away,” Jennifer added. “She reminds me of myself at her age, which is a bit intimidating, but I can see her passion for it. She really wants to pursue acting.”
