Taylor Swift won’t be in Deadpool and Wolverine
Sad news for Swifties, as the pop star won’t be joining the superhero universe anytime soon. Director Shawn Levy confirmed, “I regret not shutting this down sooner, so I’m setting the record straight now.”
Reynolds is against using fake rumors for promotion and wants to avoid discussing the rumors further.
In an interview, Reynolds stated, “I won’t lie” when asked about the speculation. However, he hinted at surprises in store for fans of the Deadpool and Wolverine universe.
How did the rumors start?
Many fans believed that Swift would appear in Deadpool and Wolverine for various reasons. Her presence at a Chiefs NFL game with Reynolds, Jackman, and Levy sparked speculation, as did her relationship with Kelce and Lively.
Additionally, Swift’s friendship with the director and her appearance in one of his music videos fueled the rumors. Despite this, fans will still get to see Jackman and Reynolds together on screen!
Deadpool and Wolverine are set to release on July 26.
