Director Discusses the Awkwardness Expected at Ben Affleck and JLo’s Premiere
Ben Affleck will not be attending the premiere of the movie he produced, which stars his estranged wife Jennifer Lopez.
Despite their breakup, the film Unstoppable is moving forward as scheduled. The film’s director, William Goldenberg, is shedding light on the dynamics between the individuals involved.
Addressing any potential awkwardness between Jennifer and Ben, who are currently going through a divorce, William told Variety, “Not really.”
As a director who has collaborated with Ben on previous projects, William emphasized the professionalism of everyone involved. He stated, “Everybody’s a professional, and that’s their own personal thing. I love them both. I mean, I know Ben better, but Jennifer was literally a dream to work with. She was incredible. And their personal life is their personal life.”
Unstoppable is scheduled to premiere at the Toronto Film Festival on Sept. 6. While Jennifer is expected to attend the event alongside co-stars Jharrel Jerome and Bobby Cannavale, E! News has confirmed that Ben will not be present.
