Watch as Dimple Kapadia refuses to pose for pictures with Twinkle Khanna
On October 23, a number of Bollywood celebrities were seen at a movie screening in Mumbai. Akshay Kumar arrived at the event holding hands with his wife, the former actress and writer Twinkle Khanna. Dimple Kapadia, Twinkle’s mother, was also present at the event. After the screening, the veteran actress was asked to pose with the bestselling author, but she politely declined, stating that she doesn’t pose with junior stars.
During the ongoing Mumbai Academy of the Moving Image (MAMI) Mumbai Film Festival 2024, Twinkle Khanna and Akshay Kumar attended the screening of Dimple Kapadia’s film Go Noni Go. Despite sharing laughter at the event, the comment made by the senior actress about ‘junior’ Twinkle became the talk of the town. In a viral video from the event, Dimple Kapadia can be seen leaving the venue.
Dressed in a white dress with a brown and green jacket, Kapadia posed for the paparazzi. When they spotted her daughter Twinkle arriving, they requested a photo of mother and daughter together. Upon hearing this, Twinkle hurriedly left the venue, saying, “I don’t pose with juniors, only seniors.”
Take a look:
While Dimple left quickly, Twinkle took a moment to pose for the paparazzi. Earlier, Twinkle attended the premiere of her mother’s movie with her husband Akshay Kumar. She wore a yellow saree and looked stunning. Her unique oxidized silver hair accessory also caught everyone’s attention. Akshay, on the other hand, looked handsome in a gray suit and white formal shirt.
On the professional front, Dimple Kapadia’s last movie was Murder Mubarak, in which she starred alongside Pankaj Tripathi, Karisma Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, and others. Akshay Kumar will be seen next in Sky Force, a war film that also features Sara Ali Khan, Veer Pahariya, and Nimrat Kaur in important roles, slated to release during the Republic Day 2025 weekend.
