Shruti Haasan has been impressing everyone with her recent achievements. She has several projects lined up, including Salaar 2, Coolie, and Chennai Story. However, there are rumors that she may have walked away from her upcoming project, Dacoit: A Love Story.
Directed by Shaneil Deo, this action film was supposed to star Shruti Haasan and Adivi Sesh. Reports suggest that creative differences between Shruti and the makers led her to exit the project. Some sources also claim that Adivi Sesh’s alleged control over the project’s direction was a factor in Shruti’s decision to leave. However, there has been no official confirmation from either party.
The film had generated significant excitement with its teaser released in December last year. The story follows two estranged lovers who reunite and get involved in a series of robberies that change their lives.
Despite leaving Dacoit, Shruti Haasan’s other projects like Coolie, alongside Rajinikanth, are still on track for release. On a personal note, Shruti recently addressed questions about her breakup with Shantanu Hazarika and her views on marriage in a candid manner during a fan Q&A session.
She shared a video with a funny filter on her face, responding to societal judgments and personal questions, saying, “Why are you stupid still? So funny and such a cool way to respond to society’s judgment and questions about someone’s personal life. Right?”
