“Denise Richards to headline new reality show featuring Sami Sheen and family”
Denise Richards is making a return to reality TV.
E! announced on Monday that the actress of Starship Troopers fame, along with her family, will be featured in their own 30-minute “comedic docuseries” set to debut in 2025. The show is tentatively titled Denise Richards and the Wild Things, a playful reference to one of her popular movies.

Previously, Richards had her own reality series, Denise Richards: It’s Complicated, that aired on E! from 2008 to 2009. She also appeared in two seasons of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2019 and 2020.
“My family and I are excited to be back on E! Sami and Lola were just 3 and 4 years old when we first shared our story, and now we are coming full circle,” said Richards in a press release. “This series is a perfect fit for our family as our lives are full of fun, love, and unpredictability. We can’t wait for the audience to join us on this adventure.”

Richards welcomed her first daughter, Sami, while married to Charlie Sheen in 2004. She filed for divorce from the Two and a Half Men star when pregnant with their second daughter, Lola, in 2005. In 2013, she adopted a third daughter, Eloise, and married Aaron Phypers in 2018, who later adopted Eloise in the following year.
This news comes shortly after TLC announced a new celebrity family reality series featuring Alec Baldwin, his wife Hilaria Baldwin, and their seven children. The Baldwins join other celebrity families like The Family Stallone on Paramount+ and established celebrity family shows like The Osbournes, Gene Simmons Family Jewels, Living Lohan, and Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood in offering viewers a glimpse into the lives of famous entertainers.
Richards has remained active after her time on The Real Housewives – appearing in a number of films in the 2020s and making significant appearances on TV shows such as The Bold and the Beautiful and Paper Empire.
