Could Deadpool and Wolverine Stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman Be Hosting the 2025 Oscars? Get the Details!
According to reports, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, known for their roles in Marvel’s Deadpool & Wolverine, are set to host the upcoming Academy Awards together. Notably, Kevin Hart and Chris Rock are not in consideration this year, and both Jimmy Kimmel and John Mulaney have declined the offer.
This opportunity comes after the actors gained popularity for their on-screen chemistry and previous hosting of the Oscars in 2009. Sources close to Reynolds and Jackman have revealed that they are still undecided on accepting the gig.
An insider mentioned, “The outreach is real, but there are mixed signals as to whether the stars are willing to participate.” Additionally, there may be considerations regarding Disney’s and Marvel’s Oscar campaign for Deadpool & Wolverine, with Reynolds being considered for lead actor and Jackman for supporting.
