After seven years away from acting, the
Lincoln
actor is set to star in the upcoming film
Anemone
, which also marks the directorial debut of his 26-year-old son
Ronan Day-Lewis
, whom he shares with wife
Rebecca Miller
.
Daniel and Ronan co-wrote the film together, which
is being described as an exploration of “the intricate relationships between fathers, sons and brothers, and the dynamics of familial bonds.”
And the studio behind
Anemone
—which
also stars
Sean Bean

Samantha Morton

Samuel Bottomley
and
Safia Oakley-Green
—is
thrilled to have Daniel and Ronan on board.
