JoJo and Kalani from Dance Moms Explain Their Strong Bond with Abby
JoJo with a Bow Bow, known for her appearances on Dance Moms and Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition, quickly rose to fame in just two seasons of the OG series. Her success led to a massive YouTube following, an exclusive deal with Nickelodeon, and a spot on Time‘s 100 most influential people of 2020.
In a conversation with Kelly Ripa, JoJo once reflected on her time on Dance Moms, stating, “One of the biggest things that I ever learned was either to sink or swim, to really just be able to survive and to want it.”
Recently, JoJo made headlines as she partnered with Jenna Johnson to be the first same-sex couple to compete on the U.S. version of Dancing With the Stars in 2021. Rubbing shoulders with celebrities like Miley Cyrus and Kim Kardashian, JoJo is aiming for an even bigger stage, expressing her dream of performing at the Super Bowl halftime show during a conversation with Raven-Symoné and Miranda Pearman-Maday. After achieving this dream, JoJo plans to retire and start a family.
