Ohio College Presents Course on Taylor Swift and Her Fans, the Swifties
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (WTVG/Gray News) – A new course offering at Ohio’s Bowling Green State University will focus on pop star Taylor Swift and her fanbase, also known as “Swifties.”
The BGSU College of Arts and Sciences is offering ACS 3000: Taylor Swift and Fandom for the summer 2024 academic session. The course is expected to take a look at the state of fandom culture with a focus on “Swifties,” WTVG reports.
University officials say the final details of the course are still being worked out, but it will begin May 13. The 6-week, online course will be conducted in an asynchronous format.
The university’s summer course registration went live last Monday.
