Matt Rife, Comedian, Forced to Cancel Shows Due to Sudden Medical Emergency
Matt Rife is prioritizing his health.
The comedian, currently on his ProbleMATTic World Tour, had to cancel sold-out shows at the Indiana University Auditorium scheduled for May 29.
“MATT RIFE CANCELED: The Matt Rife shows for tonight (including the 10 p.m. performance) have been canceled,” announced the IU Auditorium in a Instagram post on May 29, citing an unexpected medical emergency.
Although Matt was set to perform two shows at the Bloomington, Indiana university, he reassured fans on social media that the shows would be rescheduled.
“I’m incredibly sorry,” he shared in an Instagram Story on May 29, “but due to a sudden medical emergency, I have to postpone our shows for tonight (once again). In my year and a half of doing over 40 shows per month, I’ve never had to do something like this. I am deeply sorry. I hope you understand, and I appreciate your support.”
