University Student Goes Missing Following Ejection from Luke Bryan’s Bar
Riley Strain‘s family is desperate for answers.
The 22-year-old University of Missouri student has been missing since the night of March 8 after visiting Luke Bryan‘s Nashville bar, 32 Bridge Food + Drink, local police told NBC News.
According to the report, Strain was in the city with his Delta Chi fraternity brothers for their spring formal but got separated from the group after being asked to leave the bar.
“The boys called him, and he said, ‘I’m walking back to my hotel,'” Strain’s stepfather Chris Whiteid told NBC affiliate WSMV of Nashville of the events following Strain’s exit from the bar. “They didn’t think anything about it.”
When his fraternity brothers couldn’t find Strain at the hotel, only discovering his room key, they began searching for him, including checking his recent Snapchat locations. After failing to locate him, they contacted Strain’s parents, who immediately traveled to Nashville to aid in the search.
Authorities initiated a search for Strain on March 11, as confirmed by Metro Nashville PD on X, formerly known as Twitter, which involved a helicopter search of the riverbank and detectives conducting ground investigations.
