Christy Turlington Shocked to Find Nude Photo Circulated at Son’s Basketball Game
Christy Turlington Burns will not be shamed for being nude.
The supermodel recently shared a disturbing experience she had while attending her son Finn‘s high school basketball game, where the opposing team circulated a naked photo of her from a past photoshoot to taunt her.
“I was taken aback that it hadn’t happened sooner,” the 55-year-old expressed in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar published on April 24. “But I found it incredibly disrespectful!”
This discovery was distressing for Christy, who shares her children Finn, 18, and daughter Grace, 20, with her husband Ed Burns. “All I wanted in that moment was to disappear,” she admitted.
Despite the ordeal, she stands by her decision to participate in the controversial photoshoot. “I hold no shame about any of it,” she declared. “To live with regrets would be pointless.”
In the Apple TV+ docuseries The Super Models, Christy, who started modeling as a teenager, recollected her first revealing photoshoot where a photographer persuaded her to pose topless at around 17 years old. One of the resulting nude images even landed on a magazine cover.
