Christine Quinn’s Spouse Accused of Assault With Deadly Weapon
Christian Dumontet is facing legal trouble.
Selling Sunset alum Christine Quinn‘s husband was arrested at the couple’s home in California on March 19 following a domestic dispute, as confirmed by the Los Angeles Police Department to E! News.
Authorities reported that Christian, who shares a 2-year-old son named Christian Georges Dumontet with the realtor, threw a bag with glass that missed its target and accidentally struck the child, causing injury. Police and paramedics arrived at the scene and treated the child, though no transport was necessary.
Despite initial findings, a source revealed to E! News that the paramedics at the site recommended the child be taken to the ER, and Christine promptly took baby Christian for treatment.
Christian, aged 45, has been booked on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and is currently held in custody.
The couple, who got engaged in February 2019 after being introduced by a mutual friend, tied the knot later that year in a grand ceremony captured for the second season of Selling Sunset. They welcomed their son in May 2021.
“I absolutely fell head over heels in love,” shared Christian, a former software engineer, during a heartfelt speech at their engagement celebration. “We hit it off in the car. We were literally in the car and we had an instant banter, which is really special. You don’t get that too often.”
